SUper cute shop! I got a lot of christmas gifts here for my friends and family who don't live in Maine. I wanted to keep everything for myself, loved it!
The Heritage Seaweed store came to my rescue when I was no longer able to purchase my favorite seaweed items here in our Midwest town. Josh, the owner, was very knowledgeable and courteous and answered my many questions regarding how to properly use and store seaweed products. He took the extra time to share dishes compatible with the seaweed products that I use. My husband and I are enjoying our purchases and look forward to the day we can visit the Heritage Seaweed shop in person during safer times to come!!
A fun place exploring seaweed!nThey have many local, made in Portland products but it was a quite pricy.nGot a seaweed scrub($19ish) and I love it!
What a fun little shop! I went in because I needed a gift for an acquaintance and wanted to get something unique despite not knowing too much about the person. I got some of their seaweed tea, which ended up being a hit! Before going in I didn't see how one shop could focus on just something like seaweed. I was impressed to see all they had in there!
Well dang, this is best curated shop in all of Portland, Maine! SO many great sea weed products, amazing locally made products, gifts, and goods. I was visiting before the holidays and able to scoop up some wonderful gifts. I will be back for sure. Oh and free seaweed tea samples...yes, please!
