Wilmot Information Center

Great rest area. Information booklet on the ledge by entrance since the main information room is blocked off and closed.nnWell maintained grounds and a nice few of the rolling hills.

A very nice recently remodeled rest area, with 9 Truck/trailer parking spots. The lot was well lit with cameras. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. There are two drink vending machines inside. Lots of grass and views overlooking the valley outside. There is a short concrete path around the building with several covered picnic areas.

This is my second favorite rest stop in South Dakota, after the Chamberlain rest area with the Dignity statue. This location is beautiful, overlooking the valley towards Wilmot. Just a great place.

Great rest stop, great condition, but sad that all the displays and brochures are covered because of Covid-19 right now.

I'm sorry I didnt get the name of the woman who was there in the center. She was a wealth of infi. Kind and knowledgeable. Rest rooms immaculate.
