This practice has earned every one of these 5 stars. I would give them more if I could! I had a root canal at a different place many years back and have terrible memories. I was nervous going in for my root canal at Dr. Barkley’s but as soon as you walk in the door you’re met with a cozy environment and friendly staff. My nerves were put at ease and the staff just continued to be calm and kind and informative from there. I was offered oils, a hot or cold pillow, an aromatherapy hot towel and there was coffee and water in the waiting room. Dr. Barkley and his assistant, Jessica, talked me through the whole process and allowed me to have headphones in. They worked quickly and carefully to ensure my comfort. I was quite impressed with their efficiency. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

Had a root canal. Staff and doctor were very concerned with my comfort and made me aware what was being done throughout the procedure . Since there was a crack in the tooth, doctor let me know that if it cracked further the tooth would not be saved. That did not happen.They even provided a heated or cooled neck brace and at end a choice of scented wash cloth for relaxation. I personally did not have any pain during or after procedure. Would highly recommend.

Great dental experience!nThe Receptionist, and Dental Assistant were very personable, and Dr Barkley was amazing!nThe office is clean and cozy, very calming.nThey have water and coffee for the very short wait time, (note very short wait time!)nI had a root canal on tooth 7, I had no pain or discomfort during the procedure, afterwards in the evening, nor the next day!nThey offer Essential Oils to help with nerves and anxiety. They offer warm/cold neck pillow for comfort during the procedure. They provided me a warm aroma therapy cloth after the procedure!nDr Barkley called me personally the next day to check on me, and THAT to me was AMAZING!nI highly recommend Dr Barkley and his staff!

The whole office was professional, kind, informative, and helpful. They made my 1st major dental procedure easy and painless! Highly recommend them to anyone. I was also impressed by the holistic measures to keep patients calm during anxiety-prone procedures.

I have EXTREME anxiety over anything dental related. I was literally shaking on my way to the office. When i got there, the receptionist was very nice to start off. Then one of the hygienists called me back and I explained that I was pretty scared about the whole thing and she assured me this doctor was phenomenal but little did I know, that was an understatement. They offered me complimentary aroma therapy and a warm neck pillow to put me at ease a little bit. Then when doctor Barkley came in, he was very nice and explained everything in depth of what was going to happen during the process of my root canal. He had a great bedside manner and definitely calmed me down. They were GREAT with doing extra precautions due to me being 20 weeks pregnant. Now to get to the procedure itself, I felt NO pain at all. Even with the numbing shots, it was a quick pinch and he rubbed the injection site to get the medicine to disperse quicker to ease any pain. I literally could not of asked for better service. If I ever need another root canal, he will be the only person I let do it from now on. If I could give this man 6 stars on this review, I would. He even went above and beyond to call me himself a few days after the root canal, to ask how I’m doing and if I had any questions or concerns. I’m not one to even leave reviews, but I couldn’t not let everyone else know how great this office is.
