I know I'm about 3yrs late in my review. But, my sister recently had another epileptic seizure and it brought back memories of the time we called 911. My sister's seizure medication had been changed 5 months prior to this evening when she had 2 seizures in a row. Since she had never in life had more than 1 at a time, we called. My husband was trying to explain quietly to one of the paramedics that my sister has a learning disability and may not comprehend certain things. What does he do? He yells to the other paramedics we have a slow one. My husband was in shock. But, all we cared about was my sister. I was so wrong for not going in person to the firehouse and reporting it but during that time and the following months that came i was too busy taking care of my twin. Just had to release. Guess, i didn't realize how much it still bothered me.
Awesome to have the Palatine Firefighters and Ambulance crew come to our block party! The kids were so excited and the firefighters were so great with all of them!!
This is Fire Department Station 82 on Hicks road behind the Jewel. They put out fires and help people in need. They may even get a cat out of the tree if you ask nicely. You can reach them at 911 on your cell or home phone.
