One of the good Chinese Christian churches in northwestern suburbs. Pastor Ho is a great shepherd with a lot of experience in US and Taiwan. He is warm and wise in giving guidance from his Evangelical faith. The location of the church is very convenient, just a few minutes drive off the Dundee exit of SR 53, just 15 minutes from Woodfield Mall and Interstate 90.

This church is the most fake and toxic church ever. Do not ever go to this church. I would give it 0 stars if it was possible, but I at least have to give it one star in order to post a review. They just always talk to each other, and they leave out the newcomers. They act like they are better than everyone else, and they are not Christ-like at all. Someone named Sunny was supposed to be more mature since he's older (in his 20's), but I overheard him trash talk someone else in the church. They do not care about their faith, but they only care about their clique.

New Light Christian Church has been a home for my husband and I for the past year. The first time we visited, we found the people here to be very inviting. Their love for Christ and others is evident. Some things that make this church unique include the continued fellowship after church on Sundays, church potlucks for combined cell group gatherings, Chinese New Year celebrations, and the occasional talent show. They have Chinese and English services and offer programs for all ages, run by people who have a passion for Christ and his kingdom.
