I brought a huge Chinese fan home from a trip last year to China. The fan cost $14.00 and I brought it to The Great Frame Up in Kildeer to have it framed. They selected a suede mat and large shadowbox since the fan was about six feet wide and really tall so it wouldn’t fit in a normal frame. Because of the large size, it cost over $900.00 which took a little time to get over but once done and hung in my house by their installer it really looks like a museum piece. Most of my friends think I own an expensive artifact and have no clue to its real value. I can’t wait to come back with another cheap piece of art and have it framed like a master piece.
