Worshiped today at Restore Church. November 1st 2020. 11:00 a.m. service. The first impression I had of the church and grounds outside was very pleasant. The grounds are well maintained outside. There is plenty of parking available. The church grounds building and parking lot appear to be relatively new. And very very well maintained.when I walked in and threw the front door I was greeted politely and enthusiastically by a lady. I said this is my first time here. she then directed me to another person who could help me find a seat in the auditorium. When I walked through the doors into the auditorium it was very dark. For some reason they keep the lights extremely low over the congregation. The main lights are focused upon the people up front upon the worship team. The stage lighting is very becoming. The worship team did a very good job and we're very professional in their music and singing. I thought it was a little different that the lighting though was so low over the congregation. As if you were in a movie theater. I'm not accustomed to that. However I did not allow it to prevent me from worshiping the Lord. After worship concluded. The pastor's wife came out and introduced herself. She is a very pleasant lady. She gave a very nice and kind welcome to everyone. The pastor then came out introduced himself. And began to present his sermon. He spoke about the power of the blood of Jesus. It was an excellent sermon. The content s were very good. I thought he had a very good well-structured biblical christ-centered sermon. The presentation was very very good. Prayer was offered for the congregation at the end of the sermon.people were encouraged to come forward if they needed prayer. when the service concluded. I noticed people left pretty quickly. I was a little taken back by this. I thought perhaps people would linger around. And fellowship. I think the beauty of fellowship is warmth. Fellowship creates warmth. I was a little taken back as to how quickly everyone made it for the parking lot. I noticed with all due respect. That the pastor did not mingle With the people. At least that's the way it came across to me. I was hoping that the pastor would come out on the floor and just talk with people. I think that's a very important thing for a pastor to do. Because people have problems. People struggle. and needing that personal contact eye to eye hand to hand with a pastor. Is very important. At least I would say it is. Taking all of that into consideration. I would say my experience at the church was favorable. I do recommend that people visit restore Church. I think that you will be blessed by the sermon content. And you shall definitely be encouraged to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. I will visit the church in the future. I have another church I'm considering at this point as a home church. And I'm leaning in the direction of a church in DeKalb Illinois. River of Life Church. God bless you. and may God guide and direct you as you prayerfully consider his will for your life in regards to where you shall attend church.
This church is being lead in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The pastors care deeply for their church family and above and beyond to serve their community. The volunteers give selflessly every week to make things happen. And the grow groups are a beautiful way to deepen the culture of community among the congregation ud83dude4f❤
I love Restore church! The pastors Jordan and Melissa are wonderful! You can tell they love God and they love people. I have had the privilege of serving on the dream team and it’s amazing! The church members are so kind and loving. If your looking for a new church home come and visit Restore church you will feel the love of Jesus and be right at home!
I have made Restore Church my home church a year and half ago and I couldn’t be happier. My life has been changing for the better ever since; new friendships; more involvement; learning more about myself and my journey with God. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for my life!!! Thank you Jesus!
Our family have been attending for years. To see the growth and love this church has for people is amazing. The see you for your best and see beyond where you are. My kids love coming every week. the nursery class is so cute-it teaches the babies about jesus-not just a bunch of baby sitters. The preschool & kid city are so much fun--my kids asked to stay for 2nd service too. Thank you for showing so much joy and kindness Restore church. The smiles and welcome home feeling you get showing up--to the worship-- to the sermon--makes me leave feeling i can take on ANYTHING.
