I have really enjoyed the River Glen community. It's a church filled with really nice people who have been so intentional about reaching out to this newbie (to the area and church). I've been a attending for about 9 months and have attended several functions outside of Sunday service which were all so life giving. They have incredibly talented musicians and singers, and the preaching is always on point. I love that everyone feels like family, and there are many opportunities to grow closer to God and serve the Naperville (and beyond) community. It's a little church with a huge community footprint. All ages and most races represented, although predominantly white (like me) congregation. And I LOVE that all are welcome, and they really mean ALL. Check us out! 10:30am on Sundays, which I'll be honest is a little early for this Millennial, but totally worth it. ;-)
Yes, it’s beautiful from the outside, though the decision to build from brownstone rather than something harder (marble, limestone, granite) has taken its toll. The elements have worn away many of the finer details and River Glenn has begun to look like a wedding cake left out in a gentle rain…
