The school gives student's to much work and adds stress and anxiety to are personal lives.
The teachers give unreasonable punishments. No warnings or anything are given. As soon as you step out of line, they give major academic punishments such as detention after school, lunch detention and the school’s discipline of majors and minors. They have no reason at all to be quick with the way they hand out punishments. It is complete insanity and very unfair. The staff are clueless with the called out “teaching” they do, focusing on the same topic for years, not explaining the topic at hand, and not giving other students the chance of asking questions. This is a horrible school, I WOULD NEVRER RECOMMEND IT, with this many complaints and completely fair bad reviews they might as well shut down the school due to so many people against the school, Hiawatha is not a good place to trust that they will help your kids grow as people. Hiawatha is just a place where staff seek money, not the satisfaction of being a teacher or helping their students achieve greatness.n-7th Grader
