It was a very fun time at this church, but the decorations were a little preachy. Also, we kept having to sit down, then get back up again, and when they passed around that little basket that people were putting money in, they got really mad when I took a crispy 20 dollar bill from the mix. The fact that they were giving money to that basket baffles me. they must have been brainwashed or something, because any normal human being would have taken that money for themselves. This church brainwashes people, never come again.
I visited thus church to support a music event that was not religious but it was great. It is a beautiful edifice. Splendid and grand. It belongs in the Oak Park area where there is so much diversity and unity.
An amazing community that values God’s presence and power. A great place to experience prophecy, healing, and encouragement. And I appreciate that they have a strong kids program! Very family friendly!
This is an ok church at best. I didn't really like it too much. There is a good size seating area and additional seating upstairs, but there was no warm welcome feeling that usually comes from going to a new church. Nobody bothered to acknowledge me as a newcomer. Most churches will at least greet and talk to you. Not here. Message seemed very self absorbed, and wasnt very uplifting. Probably won't come back again.
Once a month healing prayer rooms... fantastic. Meditate to soft worship music, then caring volunteers pray for you. The therapy in the Sounds Room was particularly helpful.
