I have never had such a wonderful experience as I have at Pilgrim Church. We just moved here last summer from Texas. The sermons, music and hospitality has been such a gift. We were immediately welcomed by church members who invited us to lunch, special events & sight seeing. We never expected to have such dear friendships & experiences in such a short time. This is truly one of the most amazing & loving churches that we have ever experienced.

Every year, from June to October, the church hosts the Farmers' Market. Small farms from Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin offer fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, herbs. There are also dairies offering fresh made cheeses, organic meats and fresh pressed apple cider. A little more expensive, but worth the price for really great food. The church also offers its kitchen to local nonprofits, who make and sell the church's signature fresh hot donuts: plain, powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. They are made fresh and melt in your mouth. The donuts are best with the cider. The church itself has a small congregation that is open and affirming.

I have been a member here since 1977. It is a warm, welcoming and accepting place to worship and grow my faith.

I fell in love the moment I walked in the door and have been attending weekly ever since. Sure, the building is stunning. But the people, the welcome, the warmth, the community are what made me return. I was looking for a progressive, social justice-focused, diverse faith community. I've found home here.

I did not attend services here, but rent a room for group meetings. Staff have been very accommodating. The space is good for our needs.
