The field is amazing! Although some of the refs were rude and not good at reffing. Too many pushings from behind not being called, lots of offsides, ect. This is a learning experience for kids. If fouls aren't being called, kids are most likely going to form a habit of pushing (or any other foul)without being corrected and someone can be seriously injured. Like I said, kids are here to learn and play, not get away with fouls here and there. If you have Leon as your ref you might as well take your kid out of the game for safety reasons. Lastly, I want to acknowledge all coaches/parents for standing up for kids safety. It takes a lot of courage to do that. Saftey and rules first!!!

I have coached at CASA for over 4 years and was on the board briefly. I resigned from the board because I was ejected from a game, and did not feel it represented the board in a manner that is required of the position. I wanted to expand on a review that has been posted, which is their own opinion...and was from my daughter, sticking up for her Dad :)nnCASA is an all volunteer organization, and many hours are committed by these individuals to make this organization work. As with any organization, there are going to be issues, especially when it comes to officiating. Think about how many times we give an official a hard time about a call at the professional level. This is Rec Soccer.nnWith that said, I have had issues with some of the officiating as it relates to specific individuals and it is a select few and has related to pushing and some unsafe play not being called. Also, in full disclosure, I am probably viewed as over the top when it comes to child safety. I have also seen the lack of calls at many other organizations and will say the board at CASA has been very fair, open to discussion and looking for solutions to make the experience better.nnAt the end of the day, this is all we can ask for. Mistakes will be made, people will react or overreact...but as long as the goal of providing soccer for children is being created, with the best interest of the kids in mind, it will be OK...and that can be said of the board members at CASA.nnThe fields are nice, always looking to improve them, the facilities are nice and clean, and the food options are pretty good at reasonable prices.nnFinally, remember...because this is run by volunteers, you are going to get organized soccer at a fraction of the cost of select programs. So, if rec soccer is something you are looking for, then CASA is a good alternative. If you have issues, discuss it with a board member and it will be addressed. Hope this helps anyone looking to find a soccer program for their kids that doesn't cost $1,000.
