Nice pool. I love being able to reserve a lap lane. The facility is very clean and updated. Very friendly staff, too. Even though I rated it a 5, it's worth mentioning the shower stalls are small and the lockers are a little rusty. Also, I think the $7/month option to keep your own locker is a little steep. $5 would be nice. Overall, I'm glad I joined and recommend it!

Great place! Nice workers, but some of the machines' belts are frayed and have not gotten replaced yet.

Nicest people you will ever want to meet work out here

The morning front desk were not the most pleasant with me, but the evening team are pretty friendly. I definitely switched my entire routine to not go in the morning simply because I wasn't find of the judgemental feel from the morning front desk. I am very used to older people not being friendly with me (I have visible tattoos and a young person)and it's not always irritating and sad when it happens.

This seems like it would be a nice place to work. The Gen X staff have generally been very friendly and polite every time I come in during the morning. I'm glad the Y takes safety seriously. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it is definitely possible to work out (not in pool) with a mask. Also when I've gone, it has been mostly older adults who are following the rules and when I went to the Y this past evening there was a mix of ages (older adults, gen X, millennials, and Gen Z) all complying with the rules while working out. Occasionally, someone is annoying and talks loudly on the phone while working out (Something that was much worse with other young people at the Vadalabene Center at SIUE) bit that happens a lot less because the average age of patrons at the Y are older (not that there's anything wrong with that).Overall, I am soooo happy to be a patron and I have this one more safer spot to add to my list of work, grocery store, and home.
