If you are on the I-57 south, this gas station and rest area is a good place for some rest. I stopped here on my road trip to NYC, and D.C. They have convenience store, and McDonald. The convenience store has everything you will need from snacks to travel gears. The attendant Scott is very helpful. They have a shower where truck drivers can take free shower if they refill over 50 gallons and the normal travellers can also take shower with $12.
Was only in for brief time. I am temporarily in a wheelchair due to head-on collision with a drunk driver and one of the staff went out their way to assist me. Would go back nice truck stop.
