Do NOT get a Business Administration degree here. Got mine a few years ago because I didn't know better and now I work a job that doesn't require a degree because this degree didn't help whatsoever in getting a job. I would even say to NOT get any Business related degree from this school. Go to a 4 year if you want to do that. I have no doubt that this school is good for Technical degrees and even have a few friends who have pretty good jobs from getting those types of degrees here, and If i could go back in time I would've got my Computer Networking degree or something similar.

The childcare center here is terrible. The director, Tami, was unwilling to accommodate for my son with special needs. I had to take him to a much more expensive daycare that, as a student, I could not afford. Throughout my enrollment at STI, I was not only stressed about focusing on school, being a mom, and working but also struggled financially as a result of this. When I contacted Tracy Noldner, the Executive Director of Student Affairs to formally complain, my concerns were ignored. Because I had already went through the motions of getting enrolled, approved for financial aid and testing out of all of my generals there, I reluctantly stayed until I graduated (miraculously with a 4.0 GPA I will add,) because I didn't want to have to go through that whole process again somewhere else. If you have children I would absolutely not recommend attending here while Tami remains the director of their childcare center. That woman should not be in charge of children. She was rude and inflexible, and if she treats adults this way I don't even want to know how she treats children who are still developing.nnIn regards to the program, I attended for Media Design Technology. I absolutely loved the instructors. They were great and willing to help in any way they could. However, two years is not enough time to cram in everything I needed to learn in order to be successful in this field. I ended up self-teaching myself a lot of things on YouTube and through online content that was completely free. If you're going to seek a higher education for a career such as Media Design/Graphic Design, I would suggest finding a 4 year program so you can get the most out of your money and hopefully find a better job as a result.
