Darren and his wife are by far some of the best people we've dealt with for our home. After many hours researching the type and brand we wanted, we contacted Darren for a quote. After getting him some measurements, he had a quote to us in short order.....much appreciated. Thankfully, he has tremendous patience as it took us a bit of time to get the faux wall completed. Once that was done, he got us on the schedule, arrived on time (well, 20 minutes early which was great!), the installation was done super fast and the finished product looks AWESOME! We had a corner install and the way he lined things up was great!! :):):)nnHe is very thorough as far as explaining how things work, and is personable, which make the purchase and final product that much better.nnWe will be recommending him to our family, friends, and church family.nnThanks again!nnthe Knox's

Iowa Fireplace by Stone Works knows fireplaces, and knows what they need to keep them functioning beautifully.nnDarren and Melissa, initially serviced my fireplace after a lightening strike affected the electronic starter. From the promptness of the very first trip to Des Moines to inspect the unit ... to the subsequent parts ordering, and installation ... they took great care to get everything back in working condition quickly.nnDuring our conversations regarding the starter, I shared some history with Darren about the units interior appearance (rusting), and the lack of warranty assistance I had received from the dealer who initially installed the unit. Without hesitation, Darren went to work to try to solve the rusting, and contacted the manufacturer on my behalf.nnIn the subsequent weeks, not only did Darren get the North American representative to address the rust concerns, but thanks to Darrens help with the warranty ... the manufacturer paid for a complete removal of the rust, repainting ... and sent all new panels and parts to Darren so he could restore the fireplace to original condition.nnI can not thank them enough for the work they do, and their dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
