Its a good place to take the kids
Peoples and sites was great , beautiful place to be.... the Alabama Bridge and River right there...
Nice quiet place with a great view to relax and allow children to play...
There are concerts, Rally's to end violence in Selma, Jazz in the Park, Community Meetings at The George Evans Center, Recently I attended 100 Drummers Drumming event at By the River Center for Humanity, Gorgeous views of The Alabama River, Gospel shows, Fireworks, A permanent children's play area, benches, a walking trail & Hopefully Alot more in the months & years to come! It is also the backyard of The Ancient Africa Enslavement and Civil War Museum!
My family loves it. It's clean and safe, but no bathroom.
