One of the most breathtaking views I've ever experienced. The park is very well-tended, very clean. It is a very sentimental place for my husband and I.

Really great view and good raised wooden pathway out to it from the parking lot. Can't speak highly enough about it. Really great security guy working at Thanksgiving at dusk. Louie is a good guy and contributes very well to the overall park atmosphere.

It doesn't matter what time of year or what the weather is like, you must visit this spot. The hike is incredible and even though the mountain was mostly closed on this visit we still found plenty of hiking and off path places to explore. It was quite nice finding seclusion since no one was around and I gave a new appreciation. Check for various events throughout the year and make sure you talk to the Rangers if you happen to cross paths; they are amazing.
