Select Painting

It is almost impossible to find a contractor that is responsive. Select Painting is the exception. We could not be more pleased. The quality of their work and attention to detail is unmatched! We got lucky and hired the BEST!!

While my deck staining project was eventually completed, communication from Select was terrible; I wouldn't recommend them.n(1) The salesperson who came to view my deck and give me an estimate (early Sept., 2019) for staining never emailed the promised estimate to me after our meeting. I called the Select office two weeks later, and was the assured the estimate would be sent asap. That estimate never arrived, that individual quit, fall and winter passed, and the office never contacted me to provide an explanation or update. (2) A new person was given my job and got in touch with me in late May, 2020 (I had no idea a new person was assigned to my project and was frankly surprised to hear again from Select); but, I needed my deck stained. That individual agreed to complete the job on or around August 23, 2020, a date that worked well for me. But by early October, seven weeks later, the work still was not complete and the individual had provided many different excuses for not being able to show up for work; work that I had to rescheduled multiple times. (3) I had to contact the Select office again and express concern about my project. (4) Yet another new person was assigned to my project, but when the crew showed up, they neglected to verify the house number clearly visible on the front of all condos before beginning; as such, they spent more than an hour staining the wrong deck. (5) The crew failed to stain some parts of the deck, and applied uneven stain on other parts of the deck--see photos. (6) I was never contacted by a Select supervisor or manger to apologize for the severe delay in the completion of my project and for the poor communication.

I know people who have worked for Select and people who currently do. I have seen a lot of the work this company produces and it is of very good quality. The staff are friendly and very professional in their work. I would definitely have them paint my house when it is needed.

Select Painting is a great company to have work done on your home. Also they are a great place to work for they are caring and want to make the customers experience the best they can.

Select painting had great communication and kept us up to date on their schedule, progress, etc. I would recommend them to anyone!
