Beautiful place. Boat ramps, fishing, swimming, kayaking, come have some fun.

Don't go to the small beach area on a Saturday afternoon unless you're OK with a crowd of people disregarding leash laws, blasting music, smoking and leaving trash everywhere. This place needs a ranger patrol badly. The lilies were gorgeous and the Piper Interpretive Trail was not crowded. Go down to the river from that trail if you prefer an actual wildlife refuge experience and skip the obnoxious beach crowd.
