Buyer Beware: I have been tracking my gas purchases since my new car in 2014. It wasn’t until a recent purchase on 10/16/2019 that I noticed the MPG (miles per gallon) on the tickets from EXXON in Cross Lanes were much lower than any other gas purchase during the year. If you want the statistics continue to read below……………………..nnI only do gas fill-ups, never a partial tank. I made 24 fuel purchases so far in 2019. The average MPG on all the purchases has been 23.1. Of the 24 purchases this year only 3 have been below 20.0 MPG and all three of those has been at the EXXON Cross Lanes. In fact the only times it is below 20.0 MPG are the three EXXON visits. The Average MPG for fuel purchased at EXXON Cross Lanes in 2019 has been 18.66 and the average for all other locations is excluding EXXON has been 23.7.nnI know the pumps are regulated by the state of West Virginia, however the only way to explain this would be to assume the actual gas being pumped into the tank is less than being registered at the pump. Taking this into account with current gas prices, I am paying an additional $4.46 per tank when stopping at this EXXON.nnI would love to hear from anyone else if there are similar experiences at this station.

Upbeat gas station music not that it matters but good vibes are good. Very friendly clerk. I normally won't use a gas station bathroom but we are traveling, and by far THE cleanest bathroom I've ever been in, in a gas station.

If I could give zero stars I would. Very poor staff ..they are all rude and unprofessional. Dont go here. Speedway is in the same turn and these people are hateful. Also every time I come here at night sketchy people are inside not buying anything and the staff seem bothered by having to move or come in from a smoke to work the register. The blonde girl that works overnight is also extremely unhelpful and is impolite. Terrible business

Stopped at Taco Bell, but wanted SoBe water. Stopped at 12:30am on 11/26/17. Young lady working had her personal speaker playing very inappropriate music. The n word accompanied with multiple other curse words essentially on repeat. This music was able to be heard clearly through the entire store. Not something I would have expected from a business that is open to any age. Would highly suggest staff be spoken to about professionalism, no matter the level of job.
