My now-husband and I were fortunate to have our paperwork transferred from our home parish to St. Peter’s so that we could get married here in December 2020! We had a great experience working with the priests and wedding coordinating staff at St. Peter’s. They are so wonderful and understanding! We were worried with the craziness of 2020 that we wouldn’t be able to celebrate a full mass for our wedding, but St. Peter’s made it possible! In addition to our own wedding, we have been to several other masses here and we really enjoy attending (we have usually been there for Fr. Cody’s masses and he gives a great homily)! This church so historic and beautiful, we highly recommend that anyone should visit it if you have the opportunity!

Beautiful, old church building with so much history.. some easily researchable and some that you can't find out without finding the right people to talk to. Very intriguing, sacred ground. Amazing views, awesome place to watch the sun rise and/or set! Make sure if you have the chance to stop and admire this amazing stone building that does not show signs it was built in 1830. Amazing.

Unfortunately it wasn't open because of the pandemic but it's still stunning from the outside. Also beautiful views to the water.nKeep going up the steps to see the ruins of the old church. Worth the hike.

A great place Harpers Ferry full of History set in the National Park of the Shenandoah and blue ridge mountains. Somewhere I visit every time I'm back in DC and Virginia. So relaxing lots of hiking and walking trails many of which are accessible even for me me who is a wheelchair user
