Would give it a five stars if it's 100LL fuel price was a little more competitive.
Do yourself a favor and fly into Odessa (ODO) instead. Wildcatter blows Basin out of the water. I had to fly out of Basin for a week and if I could give 0 stars I would. This is the most unprofessional and sloppy FBO I have ever seen. The line techs don’t have uniforms, they just wear sloppy looking jeans and t-shirts with a reflective vest. The building itself is old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The CSR’s were clueless. One line tech even argued with me about my fuel load after not giving me the correct one. They were lazy and did not have my aircraft ready (fueled up on time) more than once. This place was one headache after another. Do yourself a favor and save money on Aspirin. Go to ODO and Wildcatter.
About as bad of a FBO as you can get. No help on the line, expensive fuel, no refreshments (not even bottled water), cramped and outdated facilities. Just not good. But this is Midland - and there is an oil boom - so this is pretty typical of everything in this town.
