The train Madam Queen is fenced in. The plaque they have to describe it is hardly visibke to read because the fence gets in the way of reading.nnThere is a place to sit in front of it and parking is easy. The library is nearby.nnThe train itself is beautiful.
If you love trains and a free photo opportunity, this is the place. Located downtown just past the civic center and the Embassy Suites. Free walking tour of history, a must for any train lover.
Nice engine. Needs some care though, starting to rust.
Cool old train, about as tall as Big Boy, but roughly half the weight & length. Quick 5 minute stop to stretch your legs, but worth it if you are into trains.
Fenced off so you can't get close to it or see inside.
