The school is amazing..but the Basic Plus teacher the was very disrespectful. By Dropping the N-Word in class and smiling about it afterward thinking it was a joke. Unacceptable + picking with the young man tying to make him answer all the question, smacking his hat off his head.Unfair

I went to this school back in 1996-1999. I did not know what I wanted to do, and I got a book in the mail from this place. All I did was look at the list of what they had and placement ratings and the highest paid program. I just wanted to get away from my parents at the time and I needed money to do it. Automation Robotics, They said 100% placement and 35K starting out. I wanted the highest pay, and that is what I went for. I did find a job right out of college and it was 42K. Higher than the avg salary of a 4 year Texas Tech grad at the time. This place is what you make of it. There are a lot of opportunities but it is up to you if you fail this place. Plan and simple. I was Head RA at the dorms, President Ambassador, Vice President Manufacturing Engineers. Student Body President. I was just a kid out of high school with an 2.8 GPA any one can go to this place and make it work if they want to.

My step son went to TSTC Waco and graduated with a degree in welding. His first year working he made over $100K and he is about to start his 2nd year and should make $150k-$200k. If you want to succeed you can but it is up to you. It's never the schools fault it is your own.
