Results Physiotherapy Austin, Texas - Southpark Meadows

Had a terrible experience with this office.nnThe first day I showed up, they took my insurance information, and I was told they would contact my insurance to confirm coverage. So I went through a session that included instructions for light stretching. When I came back for the second visit, I was told they had not contacted my insurance yet, but they were working on it. So I went through another session of light stretching. The third time I showed up, the therapist insisted that I push through a movement that was extremely painful. I told him I did not think that movement was wise given my condition. He further insisted. When I further resisted, he asked “Well if you did do that movement, how bad would it hurt on a scale of 1-10?” I replied “9 or 10”. He said “Well a 9-10 means we need to call 911. Do you need me to call 911 for you right now?” It was such an outrageous thing to say, another therapist overheard and shot him a look as if to say “Did you really just say that to a patient?” It was at that moment I knew I wasn’t coming back, but I decided to just be polite and try to finish the session. When I was finished, the receptionist stopped me on the way out and said my insurance declined coverage, and I owe them $310 for the three visits. I asked why I wasn’t told this before my first visit started - or before my second visit started - or before my third visit started - but she didn’t have an answer. So I left and called my insurance company, asked what was going on, and they said physical therapy would definitely be covered, and they don’t know what Results PT is talking about. So now I am getting bills from Results PT for the balance. $310 for light stretching combined with belittling and embarrassing comments from one of their therapists. Oh, but the good news is, I don’t have to pay the full amount because it’s out of pocket. The full amount was $865! My spinal surgeon didn’t even charge me near that amount for several visits and a diagnosis. And he’s a surgeon.nnI cannot recommend this location or this company in general for physical therapy.

This was my first visit at this location I have previously used results in TN. I have often needed the results team to sort out issues I have with my back and neck. I was very grateful to Blaise and his team to sort me out and get me back on the road again. I appreciated how Blaise explained in detail what was happening with my back. He further set me up with exercises for a later stage which he explained in detail. Both Colin and Blaise are extremely focused on making sure you do the exercise correctly and understand how it impacts your body.nAshley is fantastic in the front.nThey are always very friendly and respectful.nThanks team Southpark!

Having never been to PT before, I was not sure what to expect. Blaise and Colin were amazing at explaining my situation when I first showed up. During the time I have been treated, both have continued to update the treatment and now I feel so much better and can move with much more flexibility and reduced pain. Thanks especially to my primary PTer, Blaise, for your continued push and positive attitude.

Highly recommend ResultsPT in South Park Meadows for your physical therapy needs. Very convenient location, plenty of parking and easy to schedule appointments with therapists. My doctor recommended this clinic and specifically Blaise to help alleviate the pain I was experiencing from lifting my 25 lbs granddaughter. I was hesitant because of covid but my dr assured me they were taking all the necessary precautions . After my second steroid shot I realized I needed to get to the root of the problem and begin physical therapy. After a few weeks of therapy I am much improved and pain free. Highly recommend this clinic and specifically Blaise.

I had never been to any physical therapist prior to my experience with Blaise and Colin at Results PT. I was a little skeptical at first but I appreciated the thorough interview Blaise conducted to learn the details of my case. He suggested that it would take about 6 weeks of treatments to resolve my mobility issues. When I began treatments 5 weeks ago I needed two crutches to get around. Now I can once again walk unassisted. Blaise and Colin are both good listeners wha really know their stuff. One benefit of the SP Meadows store is that you can get a parking place literally 15 feet from their front door which is very convenient for someone with mobility issues. The store is always clean and organized and the staff is friendly. I hope I don't need their services again but if I do, I won't hesitate to use them again.
