Let me start by saying that I LOVE HEB. However, this is literally the most awful pharmacy I have ever seen. The staff is rude, the line is always long, their quote time on how long it will take to fill an RX is always way off (usually takes 2x as long).nnTalk about over worked and under staffed! They regularly say something will be ready in 30 minutes, so I wait for an hour to give them extra time to show up, and they haven't even started on it yet!nnI am toning down my frustration as much as I can right now. It just really seems like they genuinely have no respect for people's time or energy, and are barely capable of being civil to their own customers. It's profoundly disappointing.

So, I’ve been getting my monthly prescriptions from HEB for 3-4 months now, and out of the 4 times I’ve used this pharmacy...there was MAJOR UNRELATED ISSUES 3 times. Well I’m the idiot I guess, 3x is 3x too many. First time they billed my insurance entirely wrong, was a mess to clear up. Second time their machines were down and couldn’t fill prescriptions for ANYBODY for over 3 hours, including people with fatal and life dependent prescriptions. The third time, today, was by far the best though. So apparently HEB pharmacy techs, not even the head pharmacist, are your new prescribing doctors with literally no idea about your condition or medical history, I think I’m going to have to go to the Better Business Bureau with this one. I was told that they couldn’t fill my prescriptions for another week...my doctor literally just called them in today. No, it wasn’t a billing or insurance related issue they just were adamant that they had a better view of my medical history and prescriptions to control what I was already prescribed? And these are 3 major issues that pushed me to write this; not there terribly slow and unreasonably so service, not how rude they are, and not how horrendous they are in completely DEVALUING the time of somebody who works all week. Those are all issues in themselves that I have also had to put up with. Moral of this story DO NOT USE HEB AS YOUR PHARMACIST...heed my advice and you’re welcome.

Came here needing to fill a prescription and having been stressed as Walmart wanted too much. Joel was helpful and went above and beyond to help me. Thank you sir for your professionalism and courtesy.
