I will always try and fly American. You are able to talk to a person on your cell phone unlike other airlines, and your wait time is timely. Their customer service is professional and friendly. I salute this airline.

Elsa and Ana from American Airlines ended up being very kind and helped me tremendously through a weather delay that occurred earlier today. I feel fortunate to have met such wonderful staff there in Sioux Falls that work there. Thank you so much for being caring during bad weather and am grateful for their excellent service.

I highly recommend avoiding this airline. My son and I were supposed to be on a 10:30 flight from Dallas to Puerto Vallarta to meet up with my girlfriend, but our earlier flight was delayed due to poor customer service and air masks malfunction. We ended up waiting in the Dallas airport for over 6 hour only to find our next flight was delayed. To top things off I ended up on my wife’s flight and she thought I was on a business trip. Also, they lost 3 out of my 5 checked bags.

Seriously one of the most hospitality prone industries has become nothing short of an animal stable. The representative will not even give you the light of day anymore... they treat people like animals being herded. They give out the wrong information over the phone and you get to the airport to discover a whole new set of rules. Seriously AA either get all your employees to be on the same page or give your customers what you tell them!!! This is getting beyond rediculous! And your afraid of forgein airline competition that supposedly get government subsidies??? Well I will tell you what!!! Those airlines treat their passengers like royalty no matter what section they are sitting in!!! You need to up your game if you want respect in this industry. Start treating passengers like your own family.... maybe then the counter employees will try to put a smile on their faces, instead of looking like someone put a poop bag under their noses. What a disgrace!!!!

Family went to California, American lost their bag. They had no clothes, contacts, meds. etc. They said it was in Florida, Washington DC, north Carolina. The day before they come home at midnight they bring the bag to them. Now on the fight home they are being charged extra for the bag.Do not fly with this airline. Your vacation will be ruined. This company also needs to be reported to the bbb. So no clothes for 7/8 of there vacation. Had to overnight meds, contacts etc.. still no clothes. This is the most awful airline available. Family needs to be reimbursed for full vacation.
