USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center

Where to begin. I'm 100% East Coast, city raised me, suburbs groomed me type of guy and EROS completely blew my mind. Whether for work or leisure, this is a must see place to learn of an incredibly powerful system that affects how we get around, live and work in the USA. There are a lot of dedicated geniuses that have devoted their time and lives to advancing map technology and how we view our world via GPS, maps, and apps. Absolutely incredible and worthwhile visit while in Sioux Falls, SD.

This is an amazing place. They do a lot for our country, and it is fascinating to see what goes on there. If you are ever in Sioux Falls, I would highly recommend the drive out to see them.

This is an amazing place. There are so many ways EROS has contributed to the world. I remember going here as a Cub Scout. Today, the campus has grown and the information is more amazing than ever. Also, they have good security here. Great place to tour. Everyone should stop by here for a tour.
