We tried to refinance our home here and were completely blown away at the lack of communication and unprofessional behavior with their workers. We called the number posted here and were directed to someone to make an appointment. They said they made an appointment for us at 6 pm at this location with a specific worker. We showed up at 6 pm that day and found the lobby closed (posted hours are close at 5 pm.) We quickly drove around to the drive through to see if that person could explain what was going on, and the man we had been told to meet with was on vacation and not even due to be back for several more days. Why would they set up an appointment for AFTER business hours when all their locations close at 5 pm? Why would they set up an appointment for us with someone that isn't even working those days? We called the person who set up the appointment and the man we were supposed to meet with and left multiple messages trying to find a way to meet. After waiting several days we never received any calls back or even an apology for the mix up. We were on a time crunch with interest rates being what they were so we ended up doing our refinance through a different institution.
Ivette at the Layton branch is the best. She bent over backwards and went above and beyond what we expected, we will definitely use her again. If you need help give her a call you will be amazed!
So I've had many issues with goldenwest, not necessarily this branch but this is the brach that I go too. So basically in the past 2 years I've had my account hacked into 3 times but this time around they managed to open another credit card in my name.. so I've had money stolen from me 3 times and now a credit card under my name when I just barely turned 18 and trying to build my credit. I also never seem to get my money back after its been stolen. Its very frustrating.
Great experience with online loan application process. The loan officer was great and had everything approved same day.
Extremely great customer service, they know what they are doing and are very quick with the process, would highly recommend to everyone
