This is a clean rest area. It is,well maintained. The rest rooms were clean. In the spirit of New Mexico, it had an alien space ship . There was an empty fountain which at one time might have had water. There was plenty of spaces to park and had plenty of picnic tables.
At night a car parks where they can see you enter restroom. The coke in and go to stall looking to do favors for money. If you know what I mean. No police .
If sensible prison reform includes RESTRIPING for more truck parking space, I'll be in favor! Seriously! For greater public safety, I wouldn't want those truckers woken up when the escaping detainee comes running between the too tightly parked semis, chased by dogs, bumping into the mirrors, and then those truckers trying to safely navigate dense El Paso TX traffic! You wouldn't want that either, would you?
Great rest area, with parking for big rigs and separate parking for RVs. Overnight parking is allowed.
