Garland Fire station 8

Last week my daughter began to self teach herself how to skateboard. In doing so, her skateboard rolled into the storm drain. It was a brand new skateboard and we tried everything to get it out but it didn’t work. So she said goodbye to her skateboard and felt bad because it was brand new. Every time we drove by that drain she greeted her skateboardud83dude0a. A few days later we were driving down Centerville Rd and your fire engine was seen at the light about to turn onto Centerville Rd. from Broadway. I told my daughter, I bet that’s the fire engine from Miller Rd. So we drove there and spoke to The Captain, I believe his name is Jeremy, on trying to figure out what kind of options we had. After talking with him he asked where it was and him and a few people from his crew would go out and see what they could do. My daughters eyes were so happy. So they drove the fire engine out to Merrimac and Quail Hollow and took out this long hook and it took all of maybe 10 seconds to get her ud83dudef9 skateboard out. He and the whole crew were all so willing to help and made my daughter so happy and he reassured us that we can always reach out to the fire department because they are here for us. He made this whole experience of saving the skateboard very important and we were so thankful. Thank you to the men and women of Fire station 08. We love you guys!!!!!
