Fort Sisseton provided a fabulous venue for our family wedding. We were able to spend the entire weekend there with family and friends. The staff and facilities are top notch
Stopped here to eat lunch, nice park and campground, you can tour the fort which has a ton of history and is mostly outdoors. They have reenactments during certain hours, and you can walk into most of the buildings or parts of them. We only stopped for an hour but could have spent more time here. It is NOT by any services though, so if you need gas or food, get it before.
The staff is very friendly and full of knowledge. The boardwalk allows those using wheelchairs, crutches, etc an easier and safer way around the Park. We will definitely be back!
The absolute cleanest facilities I have seen in a campground. The GFP workers were friendly and accommodating. Plenty to see and do in a weekend.10/10 would recommend for history buffs. Great experience all around.
Didn't get to see all of it as workers were preparing for a festival this coming Saturday. They've done an amazing job refurbishing some of the buildings
