The San Benito Public Library may as well charge $5 to breath the oxygen inside the building the way they charge fees. $5 to retrieve your library card number. Not even for a new card, just to get your number so you can log onto the public computer. Ridiculous considering what an embarrassment it is compared to any of the neighboring cities with real public libraries. And the staff are as unhelpful as they are smug and condescending. I'd rather pay a fee to use the Harlingen Public Library.
Very cozy library. Has plenty of comfortable seating spaces. Has charging stations, as well as empty, spaced out tables. Has cubicles for studying, and access to computers. Great variety of books.
Staff has always been helpful although the place is full of inconsiderate loud people on their cell phones or else talking right under a quiet zone sign.
Excellent place for study and homework, sometimes kids are way to loud, and parents don't stop them. More quiet time and respect please.
Best library to go to work on resumes, look for jobs, friendly and kind staff also very patient! No other library compares!
