Very affordable. Very nice staff. Andrew at the front desk was extremely helpful! The lady who works there was nice. A small cool swimming pool that's cleaned daily from what I saw. There is a BBQ grill also room service, washer and dryer, clean room. Sonic is walking distance.gas stations everywhere.small shopping center on next block.also holiday inn next door. It's in the back but lighting in parking area is good. If you're on a budget I'd say this is pretty decent ud83dudc4c

My husband and I book rooms at Candlewood Suites whenever we visit San Antonio. We are IHG members and receive rewards points for booking. We are familiar with the area and nearby points of interest. There’s plenty of shopping and dining to choose from.nnWe appreciate how easily we can make last minute changes or cancellations without charge or penalties. That gives us peace of mind when booking our stay. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. They make an effort to anticipate their guests’ needs. Hand sanitizer is strategically placed on every floor throughout the building.nnThe king suite is worth the price with a private bedroom space. The mattress and pillows are comfortable. We get a good night’s sleep from day one, no tossing and turning. The kitchenette is handy and equipped with necessary dishes, cookware and utensils. Housekeeping is done weekly. Towels, linens and paper products can be replaced at any time. Rooms are sanitized between guests.nnThe overall decor needs updating. The bathroom in particular would benefit from an exhaust fan and handheld shower head attachment. The WiFi could be stronger, especially in this age of video conferencing and streaming.nnThe laundry facility is a plus, available at no charge. While convenient, the floor area around the machines needs to be kept cleaner between uses.nnThe Candlewood Suites line is described as casually comfortable for extended stays. That’s an accurate description, which suits our needs just fine.

It was great! Brought my kitten and my doggo. We didn't spend much time in the room since we were visiting my grandma but it was nice. Victoria at the front desk was out of this world. Her costumer service was amazing. Thank you Victoria for being so great at what you do !
