I went here right before 6th grade for math and it was actually really nice, I made one of my best friends, and the campus is super modern and functional! I loved it all and I wish I could go back :)

They have all their classes on zoom because of covid, which would be fine if they had taught any of the teachers how to use it.

I have been going here since the fall of 2018 and I got to say the campus is great. For being a small community college. It's a really good environment and I have met a lot of friends. With the TN promise I wouldn't think twice about not choosing this school if you live in williamson county. Most professors are pretty great and it is brand new facilities built in 2016. I am a business major with intend to transfer at the end of the fall of 2020 and I will enjoy the 2 years of memories made at this place.

I will start by saying I attended Columbia State a few years ago, and went on to graduate from MTSU and am now in a master's program. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the classes I took at Columbia State. However, it may be prudent to avoid the bookstore. I had a less than desirable experience with them. Upon returning my rental book at the end of the semester, the employee checking me out scoured through the entire book page by page, as if searching for some sign of a flaw. (I considered this ridiculous behavior, considering most universities even let students write in rental books now). When she got to the very end of the book, she noticed that one of the pages had a single drop of water on it. (I had just come inside from the pouring rain underneath an umbrella). She tried to charge me full price for the book, claiming I had damaged it, when the book was virtually pristine. When I resisted, the employee working the register next to her walked over, looked at the book, and confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Seemingly agitated at being embarrassed in front of the other customers, the employee returned the book no charge, but was incredibly rude to me for the remainder of the transaction. Based on this interaction, my perception is that this employee attempts to scam students into paying full price for rentals on a regular basis, hoping that inexperienced young adults will be intimidated and ultimately pay up. Hopefully I am wrong and she was just in a nasty mood that day. By all means, pursue an education here, but consider renting with somebody else.
