Jackson-Madison County General Hospital Emergency Room

Everyone been really nice to me at Jackson Madison county general hospital ,and I really appreciate it I don’t know everyone by name, but I thank each and everyone of you.

Unbelievable. This place had Google remove my first review. So, here goes again with more info and I'm keeping many screenshots as proof of them trying to cover this up...nn7 1/2 hours of waiting just to be told I have anxiety. When I attempted to contest what the doc said, he turned around and walked out, not listening to anything me or my visitor was trying to say. They don't listen to you when you try to explain why you're there. They assume everyone is a junkie and only go off the small amount of data they collect in triage. I'm sorry I can't plan for my body to have an episode of whatever is going on during the two minutes it takes them to get the data they base their diagnosis off of. It isn't enough time, it isn't enough data, and they don't care what you have to say. All they want to do is get you out of the way to make room for the next person that they will do the exact same thing to. You know, unless you have insurance... Then they get you back faster and spend time with you because they can bill your insurance for that time.nnWhen I called the er just a bit ago to ask what I can do about being mistreated and misdiagnosed, all I was told is to come back in and try again. I don't have insurance. It's $1200 just to walk in the door. I literally don't have a voice because I have no insurance. When I said this to the charge nurse over the phone, SHE AGREED WITH ME then hung up on me without giving her name despite me asking. She was the er charge nurse on deck at around 2:30am on 11/10/2020. Supposedly.nnAnyway, I follow docs orders, take meds as prescribed, and have yet to see ANY improvements in symptoms. If anything, they are getting worse. Heart palpitations, short of breath, digits going numb, fatigue, multiple near syncope per hour, elevated bp... ALL AT REST. Doing absolutely nothing. No stress, no anxiety, all the symptoms despite following orders to a T. What an embarrassment to the medical community this hospital is. Next time I fear for my life, I'll just keep it to myself if this place is my only option. So sad that good people have to suffer because of incompetent doctors and shoddy practices against the less fortunate and uninsured.nnAVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE. GO TO MEMPHIS, GO TO VANDY IN NASHVILLE. GO TO YOUR LOCAL WALK IN CLINIC. I left name and number, and have yet to hear back from you regarding this matter. But you can call me and text me about my bill being ready? What a joke. Maybe if your jerk doctor had actually LISTENED to me, this wouldn't be happening. You idiots have my number on file... You can just as easily call ME when you're ready to discuss this matter. Why don’t they have a piece of paper I can write on when I walk in???? Good thing I’m only here for throat and migraine issues! Because it would of been embarrassing if I had to say out loud what was going on, if it was something more personal! I shouldn’t have to say out loud why I walked in.
