Weekday camping at Newton Hills was quiet, relaxing, and a perfect getaway. The park is clean, offers much to do, and has pretty nice facilities. Campsites are well spaced (or there are close ones if you are camping with friends), and many are nice and shady. Many back up to wooded areas and offer nice privacy. If you prefer a cabin, they have a few of those too. Overall, a great park! Don't forget the lake and swim beach across the road, and you can even rent a bike to get there, or a paddle board or kayak to use there!

One of the best camping places around Sioux Falls! Absolutely beautiful and great hiking! Lots of trees and privacy! If I could live in a cabin all September I would! You have to grab them early though before they all fill up.

This state park has a nice campground and general facilities but the highlight is their picnic area and walking trails.nGreat individual spots to set up and eat and well maintained!

First time here and we went to just do some hiking and we were in awe of the beautiful scenery. Looks like a great place to camp and picnic as well. We will definitely be back as we didn't get to see all of it on our first go around.
