I have been seeing and hearing of several issues where they are dropping the ball on caring for their animals. Sister fostered a dog welcoming it into her house with her three dogs. Only to find out the fostered dog was heart worm positive and the humane society knew she tested positive and did not treat her. Inexcusable behavior from an organization that's supposed to care for animals and illicit help from people only to endanger her dogs. I have a picture of a cat currently in their care that I can't figure out how to copy to Google maps but cat is in horrific condition and receiving no veterinary care. Not sure what the problem is with the shelter but it needs to be fixed immediately. This is unacceptable.

The staff is amazing they answer all my questions. The lobby smelled good. The animals were all healthy looking. I would highly recommend getting pets from here.

Everyone is so friendly and it's so clean and nice. I adopted mine 2 years ago. And they are a no kill shelter.

I've got to give these folks a 5 star because they were very helpful and obviously care about their animals. They made the adoption process so easy. There is, however, room for improvement. I followed the dog I ended up adopting on line for months. The last thing I needed was a 4th dog. But, I watched her sitting, month after month, at the shelter and finally went and got her. She has turned out to be an incredibly loving family pet. But, she didn't come without challenges that not everyone could have handled. It took a while for her to overcome fear and aggression that came from her having been in a cage, without a home, for months. It would have been a very bad situation for someone to adopt her and take her to a home with children or someone who didn't have time to spend nursing her through post traumatic stress. They have taken down the photos of their adoptable pets from their web site, which just seems odd. They should also give more information about the animals so people know exactly what they are getting into and be prepared. Overall, these are great people. Just be careful to ask questions.
