I can't say enough about Teresa Garrels and her staff. I severely sprained my ankle while hiking one day (3 torn ligaments, a chipped bone and two bone bruises). I didn't get assigned PT by my doctor until 7 weeks after my injury. By then I had lost so much range of motion, I honestly didn't think my foot would ever feel or perform the same again. I'm an avid yoga lover and I enjoy walking and hiking regularly. Teresa was amazing. Aside from answering my millions of questions every visit (I learned so much from her!) she was so pleasant and fun to work with. After about a month of visits twice a week I could finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. The exercises we did were incredibly helpful, including the ones assigned to me at home (which I did religiously). After eleven weeks of PT my foot was about 98% back to what it was before. My strength and range of motion is great. I can walk, hike, do the elliptical, do yoga, it's amazing. I'm so grateful to Benchmark PT. Teresa's mentee, Benjamin, was wonderful too. And Casey at the front desk is an absolute doll, so helpful and pleasant to deal with. Great team and highly recommend!

I was referred to Benchmark Physical Therapy by my doctor when I had asked for a recommendation for a chiropractor. I was complaining of chronic neck pain with limited mobility and my physician refused and said she would only refer me to a PT.nnI was a very reluctant and skeptical at first, but after my first session I was pleasantly surprised. I met Teresa Gerrels and was very impressed with her and her facility. Teresa was able to diagnose my pain and treat it over a 3 month time span. Benchmark of Franklin has everything at your disposal. Teresa can offer a vast variety of treatments that would include Needling , Cupping, tailored exercises, along with strength conditioning equipment.nnI have now finished my therapy and I am now happy to say I have a full range of motion in my neck and I am mostly pain free. I really didn’t think that I would ever feel as good as I do, and I owe it all to Teresa and her friendly staff.nnI can’t recommend Benchmark of Franklin enough.

I've been through physical therapy several times at various clinics: shoulder, knees, heel, tennis elbow. Benchmark in Franklin has been by far my best PT experience. The Benchmark staff are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and creative in solving problems. They are also generous with their time, a session there is an hour compared to the half-hour at other institutions I received for a comparable price. They will definitely be my first choice if I need physical therapy again.

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Benchmark in Franklin. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that they actually care about you and getting you pain free. This isn’t a place where you go through the same old routine, this is a place where they’ll provide you with a routine that fits YOU. It’s such a friendly atmosphere that makes physical therapy fun. I’d recommend trying PT here before anywhere else.

BenchMark Physical Therapy in Franklin is the best! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Teresa has eliminated my knee and shoulder pain through her magical methods! If you want to be pain free, GET IN HERE!
