They've remodeled! The line was a bit long(Monday afternoon) but they got us through as fast as they could.The ladies are very helpful and pleasant. I was somewhat perplexed trying to determine which line I should be in based on my scenario, so I went through the shortest line first to ask. Hopefully there will be more information to avoid line confusion other than Auditor and Tax signs, unless long lines are uncommon.
I had paid my taxes on my vehicle 6 months ago and had been having issues receiving my license plates because of it. While I am grateful that I was able to reconcile the issue, they somehow fudged my name and gave me my sisters middle name instead. who doesn't even live near Rock Hill but does live in South Carolina. I'm glad that all that I had to do was to bring myself back and they were easily able to issue a refund check and have me pay my new taxes all under 10 minutes. They still don't have any information on my license plate over at the DMV so I might end up editing this comment if I run into more issues.
New remodeled facility is great. More room, more seating. The ladies at the counter are always friendly and helpful.
Had to pay the taxes on my car. Got a new girl. She was fast, very nice, professional. She's catching on pretty good.
Went to pay taxes and get sticker for tags. Went on a Friday morning, only 1 person ahead of me. Perfect time. Early in the morning. Even on a Friday.
