Great proximity to the Sports and events center. I loved that we could walk to the venue. The hotel opened to early without the small details addressed. Also, the room amenities indicate a microwave, but do not expect one. They cleaned the one in the break room and brought it up to me. However the staff(Tyler and Kristine) and the GM (Kendell) were AMAZING! They will make your stay bearable.
Hotel seems beautiful.. sky bar's service is trash.. waited over a hour for food.. but drinks are good.. and the environment and vibe is the best they got going for them.. if they got a better service staff could be the hottest spot in Rock Hill..
I reserved a room and had a family emergency that causes me to miss check in. Prior to my arrival, I contacted Breonna and attempted to check in via phone providing her my card number. A charge was authorized on my card so I assumed that all was well. She advised that she checked with her manager and that it would not be a problem for my late check in. She also advised that Tyler would be aware. Due to the stressful nature of the emergency, I left later than anticipated and arrived early the next morning to find out that my room was cancelled and that I would have to pay a higher rate for two nights than for the three nights that I reserved in February. I spoke with the GM Kendalle who was totally helpful and nonchalantly told me that he can’t help that I overslept. I would not recommend this hotel and would recommend customer service training and education for all staff. The only reason I stayed was for the convenience due to my daughter’s volleyball regional tournament next door. Otherwise, I would have selected an area hotel. I will think twice about staying at Choice Hotels.
We had 17 people! You had one server but she did the work of four! The food was amazing!! I'm impressed! We will be back!
Stayed for a Volleyball tournament. Staff was nice, room was clean. Had breakfast one morning, pricy but good. Roof top bar music was too loud, could hear it several floors down each night, along with the dragging of tables and chairs.
