I had my dog as a patient of Dr. Matthews for years!!nThen, they renovated the place and increased their prices! I couldn't afford them, so I transferred my dog's medical record to a different vet, with way more fair prices.nThen my dog was dying, and I was trying to set an appointment with my new vet, which was scheduled for the day after I called.nnMeanwhile, I called Dr Matthews office, and was BEGGING for some pain medications for my dog. I explained the situation, and told them I have scheduled an appointment for the day after, but I want to ease my dog's pain.nThe receptionist said she will talk to the vet, and call me back.n2 and a half months later, she still hasn't called me!nI've lost my faith in them, and I will never recommend them to no one I love and care. Ever!
We are new to the area and lucked out finding this office. Our first visit was scheduled and went very smoothly. Dr. Jade Guilbeau took her time explaining all issues we needed to address with our dog, Meg. She recovered nicely from her UTI and ear infections.nOur second visit was unannounced when Meg had a bad seizure this past Friday morning. It was before opening hours so I just showed up and caught Dr. Guilbeau as she was walking in. Again, she took time to explain all possibilities and took Meg in without an appointment. We are so grateful for her kind and caring spirit.
Dr. Mary Matthes-Guilbeau and her daughter Dr. Jade Guilbeau work together to provide truly first-rate veterinary care for their clients. For the past nearly six years, Dr. Mary and then her daughter, Dr. Jade, upon joining her in practice a couple of years later, have been providing our pets with an unrivaled level of care. We are extremely grateful to both for their professionalism, expertise, and compassion. Our pets actually enjoy visiting the vet, which is a new concept for us!
Love love love these 2 vets!! Mother and daughter. They are both fantastic.
Dr. Mary is the best! She is very compassionate and will not do any unnecessary testing on your pets.
