The customer service representatives at the office and on the phone are are horrible and not helpful. Vacationing with them is unpleasant. The lobby is supper small.

My husband and I were offered the package at a mall in our hometown in N.C. The guy explained that we will be placed in a 4 or 5 star hotel of our choice! They will tell you anything to get a sale. They explained how the vacation worked. We paid 199, got a gift card for 75.00 on the spot and was told that we would receive 100.00 once we finished the presentation. I came with an open mind and plan to purchase a timeshare. When we arrived we were easily checked in and told where to go. The girls at the preview center were very sweet, and advised us that we were randomly selected to not have to attend the preview. Since it was my birthday, the day we came and checked in (June 22nd) I was kinda glad that we didn’t have to attend. She told us to come and pick up our gifts at 10:30am the following day. We arrived at our hotel. It was far from 4 star worthy! I looked into the rating and found out that it was a 3 star hotel. We stayed at the Meridian Plaza room 406. They claimed that they were a resort. The room was ok but definitely could have been better! It was not ocean front. The rep at the mall clearly lied! Also, you don’t know where u will be staying until you arrive! You also don’t get to chose where you will be staying! This made me not even want to purchase a timeshare based on all of the lies told to us before even going on vacation! We ended up staying at the hotel since it was peak season for Myrtle beach and there wasn’t a single hotel vacancy. The next morning we went to get our gifts. We received a 100.00 gift card as promised and a “free,” cruise. It took them 30 minutes to get us the gift card. When we went to use the card for the 100.00 even at the Nike store, it declined. My husband used his bank card to pay for the purchase and we decided to tuck the card away and figure out why it declined later. Later that day we called the number on the back of the card for a company called card services. We waited over an hour for a rep. The rep didn’t know why the card declined or why the balance was -15.99. He said he will have a supervisor place the funds back on the card on Monday. Here it is Monday and they still won’t place the clearly unused money back on the card. The supervisor was useless! I’m giving up! They can keep the 100.00! So basically, we were given a faulty card and no one will make up for the 100.00 gift that we lost. Also, blue green gave us a sheet of discounted ticket prices. The ticket prices that they gave were 20% higher than they were if you were to purchase them at the ticket booths. Also go online to get a better discount. Long story short, don’t go through Bluegreen! You are much better off paying for everything yourself to avoid the hassle! Believe the other reviews! I wish we would have listened!
