Purely Classic. Looks like something out of a movie. Places as such as this should be preserved and protected, the membership fees were Very Reasonable. What a beautiful building too!
This historical library was incorporated in1908 and is a quiet gem in the community of Summerville! One of the few subscription supported non-profit libraries left in the United States! It’s well worth a visit!nIf you want a quiet place to read, have access to the classics, best sellers and peruse the extensive civil war collection of books or bring your toddler to story time this is the place to visit or become a member to support literacy history!
Beautiful building, and amazing books.
Amazing local library. Low member fees. Monthly story hour. Superb staff and volunteers. Annual Fall book fair is a do not miss for moms on a budget.
The only reason i gave it one star is because it wasn't for me. It is not a public library and by membership only. $15 yearly.
