This is a quality family run local company.nnKayaks are in great shape. Tour is a good length. It is worth being able to go into the swamp where no other outfitters have access. Groups are small and the tour feels private. If sliding through the he area worth checking out.

Absolutely marvelous and unique experience I am so glad I decided to do this tour. Dallas was a perfect knowledgeable, friendly, and personable guide who kept our group of strangers feel like we are old friends. I did the blackwater swamp tour. The swamp is on private protected land with this company being the only one allowed to take visitors there so it's your small group and nature and nothing else, feels so good! Water in the swamp is shallow only about 2 feet deep, there are no bugs or mosquitoes as the water too acidic for them, no alligators because there is no room for them to bask. It's just a magical forest plenty of birds and you. Kayaking here takes no effort at all as there is no currents. Loved this trip.

Alice was a wonderful guide for a black water swamp kayak tour. She provided in-depth information on all aspects of the area and it's history. We observed wildlife at every turn and loved the experience (birds, turtles, fish, trees, and one very shy snake). I highly recommend this tour in every way!

Having been o Charleston once before, we were looking for something different to do this time. And although storms were in the forecast, the afternoon ended up being warm and sunny... perfect for kayaking in the Black Cyprus and Tupelo Swamp out near Middleton Plantation and Gardens. When we arrived, we were thrilled to find out we were the only party for the afternoon tour. Our guide, Coleman, was fantastic. Even though he was fairly new to the tour, he was able to answer most of our questions and point out a lot of things we normally wouldn't have even noticed while out on the swamp. We saw egrets, turtles, and a snake! Located in a conservation area, it is a peaceful piece of raw nature. We highly recommend this experience!

When the winds were too high for kayaking in Folly Beach where we were staying, we came inland. The online booking was easy and comprehensive, the staff friendly and helpful (and masked!). The river was lovely even in the brisk March weather, and a great white egret sighting was a highlight.
