My only regret is not going to him for my first 3 colonoscopies. Dr Swafford is very kind, gentle and patient. He listened to and answered all my questions and concerns. The staff are genuine, helpful and sweet. I highly recommend Dr Swafford and his team. I trust him.

Not sure why people are saying the office staff is rude and the overall low reviews. I am glad i did not read them before seeing him or i might have had my primary refer me elsewhere. I have seen him in office only twice but he did a great work up about 5 different test. He was very professional and seamed very concerned for my health. I will continue to see him as he and his staff treated me perfect.

I started seeing Dr. Swafford in March of 2017. He diagnosed me with Crohn's. He was kind initially, albeit not very helpful with the lifestyle changes I should expect. I met with him semi-frequently, and then didn't book an appointment for a time because I could not afford the payments as a college student. He threatened to not refill my prescription for my medicine and he told me he would no longer treat me in a very unprofessional letter I got in the mail. I called his office, and they agreed to refill my prescription once more. Recently, I got a new insurance plan and they use a different pharmacy. In my attempt to get the prescription transferred, they called Dr. Swafford. He told them to cancel my prescription because I have not been in the office. If they would care for their patients well, they would know it's because I have not had insurance. Stillwater Medical Center is where he works out of. They are a non-profit that helps those with financial needs to cover their payments. I received a package through this program that covered the costs. However, Dr. Swafford does not honor this and required full payments. Just one more reason to not see him. I have made plans to see a new gastroenterologist in Edmond. DO NOT SEE DR. SWAFFORD.

Horrible office service. You call about a severe disease, that he diagnosed you with.... in horrific pain, and they tell you that you might have have the flu to go to the E.R.. Very rude office staff. You will not receive any helpful assistance. For your health AND especially if you have a painful disease like Ulcerative Colitis GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!

After taking my son to Dr Swafford twice he referred him to the Mayo Clinic....we went to Mercy in OKC. It was his gallbladder. Save yourself the time and money and just go to Mercy.
