Dr. Brestel is THE absolute BEST! I absolutely LOVE him to pieces and would refer or recommend anyone to him. He's one of the best hands down when it comes to prenatal care & delivering children.

He was not able to determine the sex of the baby, told me it didn’t matter. I asked if we could schedule another day to determine the sex and he again told me the sex did not matter. He has children, I’m sure it mattered to him with his own. So, I paid 50$ to find out else where. He would also tell me he was going to fire me as a patient. I was never late to my appointments and I was quiet and respectful towards him. Why was he saying this? On the day of delivery he was on holiday (not able make my daughters birth) He had a rude demeanor and it was an over all terrible experience for choosing him as a doctor.

Dr. Brestel doesn’t sugar coat things. He is quick in and out,but he tells you what you need to know. He is a wonderful doctor! I’d recommend to any woman!

All of my friends warned me not to go to Dr. Brestel because they said he was very rude and had no bedside manners. One friend told me he was c-section happy and left a huge scar and she got a severe infection. I decided to give him a chance because the other doctor at the clinic(my gyn), Dr. Powell, is exceptionally nice and informative. They told me Dr. powell wasn’t accepting any OB appointments so they transferred me to dr. Brestel. The first visit was good, he was very nice and the nurse was so kind but the secretary was very snippy and condescending to me, but very friendly to the African American women that came in after me. At my ultrasound he seemed in a very sour mood after rescheduling with me because he was too busy. I was rushed in and out without any concern for my questions or any other information. They recommended a test from progenity which ended up charging my insurance 18,000 dollars for which it’s still up in the air. I had to reschedule my next appointment because I work 24 hour swing shift work and was in the process of moving to a larger home for my baby. I apologized about a missed appointment and went in today to be chastised a second time by the secretary. She shook her head and talked to me like I was a 5 year old child. She went on and on about how I will be dismissed. When I asked her the what the smallest amount I could pay on my bill was (due to moving and other medical bills) she asked how much I could pay. I told her “the smallest possible amount” again. Then she told me to “go sit in the waiting room and think about the amount I can pay.” I told her she was rude and to dismiss me and walked out. I do not recommend any place that has no concern for their patients and makes them feel so uncomfortable and talked down to. If it wasn’t for the secretary I would of toughed it out, but that level of rude and condescending behavior should not be allowed at a professional medical facility. I give 2 stars only for the nurse because of how friendly and communicative she was. As all my friends told me, go to another doctor.

Worst doctor to go to period... I would not recommend him or this place to anyone ever! He stopped my labor several times.. I have had 7 misscarages but he would not send me to a high risk. Every visit I set in his office for over an hour waiting on him. They are very slow. He has told me that my child's embelical cord could wrap around his neck and he could die while inside me that I needed to pay attention to his movements. This is my first child and he refused treatment to me today as I am a week away from 9 months. I have been in labor for the last 4 days with heavy contractions and the shot he gave me 4 days ago didn't even phase me. My child could be born at any moment and he refused to see me cause I left the hospital against medical advice. I have a relative with cancer and is very very sick and don't have but a few weeks left. When I'm in visit with him he measured my stomache and ask if I have questions then he leaves he dosent prepare you for anything.
