I hired Doak Willis to handle a family law matter after speaking with him over a few week period via text as I do not live in Oklahoma. He was quick at taking in all of the info I gave him. He did all his research about what could happen and what the law allows. He was very professional in court and person. Was responsible on his price's. AND HE WON MY CASE! Would hire him again in a heart bet. Hope this helps to who ever is in need.

About 10 yrs ago I met Attorney Willis because i had gotten into some trouble. I was completely without hope of any kind of defense. Mr.Willis met with me and spoke to me about the charges and explained how the court process worked. At that time i was looking at jail time and lots of court fines and fees. I hired Mr.Willis because his knowledge and experience. When the time came for my preliminary hearing he was able to find my defense and got my charges dismissed. Due to his experience and compassion for people in my position. I recommend Mr.Willis and do very much appreciate what himself and his staff did for me.

I want you to know that I was real happy with Doak representing me. My case was a criminal case and he really fought hard for me. I read other peoples reviews and can tell you that he didn't try and plea bargain but got my case dismissed in court. It was a fight to. I told Doak I was kind of scared to hire him because of those reviews I read on here. He hadn't seen them and he looked up those people giving him bad reviews in front of me and they weren't on ODCR! He never represented those people! I saw it with my own eyes. If you want a good lawyer who will take time to talk to you then go see Doak.

Coming back from Tahlequah during Memorial weekend, my husband and I were in our vehicle and my 17 yr old son and our other 2 kids and 1 friend were 1 car behind us. We were entering the interstate when we saw a Vian police officer pull over my son. Officer gave my son a 21mph over ticket, which was impossible since we and another vehicle were in front of him, and we were doing the posted 25. Doak did bargain with the prosecutor and my son received a 60 day deferred sentence and still paid the fine, but it was better than getting hit with it on his driving record and our insurance. Vian police are corrupt and definitely profiled my son since he was a young kid with friends in a 2015 truck. Once my son told him we were in the car in front all of the sudden he changed the ticket from pace to radar, but never showed our kid the radar and did not even realize he was under 17 and needed to call us until my son told him he was under 17 as he was handing him his ticket and driver's license. Biggest bunch of crock. I guess Vian was in need of money that weekend. Doak did help us and I would recommend him.

OMG, stay clear of this guy.....he is a former prosecutor. The only thing he knows are plea deals! His knowledge of the law by statute, is questionable, at best. He will financially wipe you out, then coerce you into a plea deal. Taking the kitchen sink, is an under statement! When he discovers that you are financially deficient, he will sever all ties. He cares nothing about your case, as with most former prosecutors. Its all about the money.....do not, believe anything he says.....period! He will lie in sentences, and demonstrate no consciencable attitude. Proceed at your own risk.....you have been advised!
