My husband called to schedule an emergency appointment for Friday at 2pm. The receptionist misheard and scheduled the appointment for 2pm Thursday. On Friday morning at 6am, my husband called the emergency line because he was in a lot of pain and didn’t think he could wait until 2 to be seen. The dentist was rude and immediately made a comment about him missing his appointment and said he needed to wait until they opened at 9am to make another one. He explained that he did not schedule his appointment for Thursday, but the dentist didn't believe him or care. We had to find another dentist in the area that opened at 7am, because my husband was starting to have some pain not only in his tooth, but also in his face. The infection spread to his face and the whole right side of his face was swollen the size of a baseball. This tooth causing these issues was an infected root canal done by Dr. Chun. We went to urgent care and they immediately sent us to unc emergency room. He was admitted for three days, put on iv antibiotics, and had to have the tooth extracted.

Dr. Chun and his staff are top rate. He is “no nonsense” while being very caring and has never caused me discomfort. He’s the only dentist I’ve ever had who has been able to address problem areas without repercussions or do-overs. He is such a good dentist - I can’t give him high enough marks. April is a great and personable hygienist. Irene is a friendly and efficient administrator. I hate going to the dentist but I love these guys.

I came there for a tooth extraction about a week ago... Dr.chun deserves a 5 star for his effort. He made sure i was not in pain during the whole process. Great staff too btw. ud83dudc4d it was a-little sore after that day but i was finally eating normally again in 4 days. I will be back for any other futurenPreference. Im glad somebody recommended me to him! I Saved money and was very pleased at the same time.! Place may not look like any good place for dental care but trust me! He made me changed my opinion.
